Our Peditrician suggests "baby led weaning". We did that with Wyatt and I plan on doing that with Keniann. Wyatt didn't have food until he himself was ready and trust me you will know! He was around 7 months old. It makes the transition alot smoother and also will decrease the chance of baby weaning too soon from milk. Look up baby led weaning and you will find tons of info about it or feel free to ask me about it (:
It's totally normal for her to not like food right away. It's brand new!!! Tastes weird, not very good (really... I wouldn't want to eat it!), and not at all what she's expecting! No worries! She'll get around to it!
You know, now that I think about it, Gabriel didn't start eating food until about 6 1/2 months+. We were just playing around with Faith. I'm all about the baby-led weaning, lol! :)
Did you know that bloggers all have the same love language? It's Words of Affirmation! We LOVE to read and respond to your comments. Did this post resonate with you? Do you have something to add? Need some prayers? Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a note. It's the next best thing to hanging out in person with lots of iced coffee and chocolate. :)
